Sky Lake can reproduce your art from a number of starting points: from a CD, scanning an original, or photographically shooting the work. Our EPSON wide format printers can reproduce pieces up to 44" wide and 90" long. Project turn around time varies on workload, but is usually within a week. If your project is time crtitical, please contact us about meeting your deadline. Additional fees may apply to rush orders.

Our color-managed workflow assures that your final product will be as close to the original hues and tones as possible. Once we've created a digital workfile, we further clean and adjust the image to meet your exacting specification. It's this dedication beyond the digital capture that sets Sky Lake's giclee work apart. We keep all our customer's work on file so that print reorders are a snap. You can just call or email us your needs and we'll have your prints ready for pick-up or can mail them to you.

digital reproduction

If your work is a purely digital creation or if it has already been shot or scanned into a digital format, you can deliver it to us on a Mac-compatible CD. We can read most any file format, but in most cases the best choice is TIFF or PSD files as they will yield superior image qualities. If you need your CD returned, please let us know at the time of drop-off.

Even if your work is already in a digital format, you may want to consider providing us with a hardcopy match print to aid in adjustment. Work delivered on CD will receive basic, global image adjustments. If more than 10 minutes of image adjustment is required, a digital art fee of $25/15 min. will be applied. photographic reproduction

This is the digital capture approach favored by most fine artists. You must be prepared to leave the art with us for photographic reproduction and color adjustment. We'll need it for both shooting as well as serving as a color master for the final adjustments. We treat originals with the greatest care, but if you have any special handling requirements, please let us know.

All photographic reproductions receive an intensive color correction treatment with no additional digital art fees applied. Accurate reproduction is our bottom line. Your final, print-ready giclee files are delivered on CD. You may also order prints on our broad selection of fine art media, if you wish. See our pricing page for more details.

high resolution scanning

We offer high resolution flatbed scanning services. We can work from prints or positive/negative transparencies. Scan pricing is based on file size as well as whether you want a ultility or fine art scan. Your final, print-ready files are included on a CD.
