We offer a variety of print media, including archival quality fine art papers, canvases, and vinyl printing on Epson wide format platforms with long lasting, vibrant UltraChrome inks. If you're unsure of the material you'd like to print on, please consult with us to review our available substrates. We have printed samples, using standardized test patterns, available at the studio. All prints are cut from roll stock and prices are based on the square footage of the finished work.

Sky Lake can make prints of any size, up to 44 "wide x 90" long using our wide format Epson printer. Below are some sample prices based on common frame sizes. Deckled Edge Cut: Add $5 per square foot Work delivered in an already digitized format will receive up to 10 minutes of color/image adjustment work with no charge. Fine art gicleé reproductions is our specialty. In bringing most fine art works to the digital medium we suggest using our photographic services, where the piece is shot using a high resolution Better Light digital scanning back and 4x5 body. This approach is ideal for pieces from 11" to 54" along their largest dimension. Making quality gicleés is more than just snapping a photo. We spare no expense in accurately translating your art to the digital medium. Each shot includes a thorough clean up and all the digital adjustments needed to faithfully reproduce its colors and subtleties. The final product is a print-ready, museum-quality file delivered on CD. All files are kept on our servers so reordering prints is as simple as making a phone call or sending an email.

scanning
Transparencies/negatives/slides may be scanned for reproduction. Scanning is done using our high resolution Epson V750 flatbed scanner. Our two-tiered pricing gives you the option of getting a simple utility-grade scan or a more refined fine art scan with a clean-up pass and color adjustment. The price categories are based on the completed file size for the image. Some popular sample sizes are listed as a point of reference. The finished print-ready files are delivered on CD as well as being kept on file for ease of print ordering.

If you're not local to our studio, we're happy to ship your prints and/or CDs. Our shipping and handling costs within the continental US vary by order quantity and print size. The guidelines below will help you to determine shipping costs:
S&H is $9.75 (30” tube) if your order:
- Contains prints with the smallest dimension no larger than 30”
- And consists of six or fewer prints
S&H is $9.50 (reinforced flat mailer) if your order:
- Contains prints that are 21"x26" or under
- Requires flat transport
- And consists of ten or fewer prints
S&H is $13.50 (48” tube) if your order:
- Exceeds the guidelines for the 30" tube, but can fit in a single 48” mailing tube
Orders Over $375 Ship FREE*
If your order requires multiple tubes, it will require additional costs as outlined above. In all cases we’ll do our best to consolidate your order into the most affordable shipping format as long as the safety of the prints is not compromised. All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail (usually a 2-Day service) with delivery confirmation, using heavy duty mailing tubes. Orders over $500 include insurance. If alternative or express services are required on an order, please contact us for pricing.
